Relief from Pelvic Pain

Chronic pelvic pain is a very common gynelogical disorder of which there are many different causes. Dr. Hayes will perform a thorough examination to try to determine the cause of chronic pelvic pain which may include laproscopy surgery. This procedure may reveal gynecologic problems causing the pelvic pain, such as endometriosis, pelvic infection, adhesions, ovarian cysts or tubal pregnancy, so that appropriate treatment may be started. In addition, by using specialized instruments during the laparoscopy, many of these problems may be treated at the same time. Adhesions and endometriosis may be cut away, and ovarian cysts or a tubal pregnancy removed.
